Dear Families,
This week is National Reconciliation Week, a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation. Be Brave, Make Change is this years theme- we can all make brave changes in our daily life to to strengthen relationships. To highlight Reconciliation Week we will be holding a whole school assembly next Wednesday, followed by a morning tea for parents/community members. We hope you can join us for this special event. Covid Update…. Thanks for your ongoing support as we navigate the challenges of managing COVID in our community. The Emergency Management Committee has announced changes to face mask requirements in education settings. From Monday 30 May, face masks will be:
- Strongly recommended (but not required) for all adults – including visitors and parents – while indoors, except when teaching or interacting with children
- Strongly recommended (but not required) for students in years 3 to 12 while indoors
Supplies of surgical face masks will continue to be provided by the Department for Education at our school.
Congratulations to Ethan, Jack K, Leo, Sofie, Laila, Bridget, Amelie and Nadira who were selected to participate in the state Football championships this week. All students represented themselves well with both teams finishing on top!
Warm Regards, Rebecca
