Our Parents and Friends Committee are holding a Casual Dress Day in support of Treasure Boxes, tomorrow Thursday 14th April, last day of Term 1.
Casual clothes must be weather appropriate and all students are to be in normal school footwear (eg: no ugg boots, thongs or slippers) for safety issues. As we are raising money for Treasure Boxes, a gold coin donation is expected if you are wearing casual clothes.
Treasure Boxes is a South Australian based not-for-profit children’s charity. They provide vital essentials to newborns, babies and children living in disadvantage within our community. Through gifting essential children’s goods to families at risk of poverty, homelessness and domestic violence, Treasure Boxes alleviates severe hardship, financial burden, reduce the risk of poverty and homelessness, ease trauma and provide hope to those most vulnerable.
Secondly, our school bell rings an hour early tomorrow, and on each last day of term. Collection time is 2.10pm.
Lastly, Term 2 starts on Tuesday, 3rd May which is also our photo catch up day. (Monday, 2 May is a student free day – please contact OSHC if you need)
