Student online communication

Last year we posted a blog about private messaging which has become pertinent once again as we use Teams as a way to communicate during ‘Learning at Home’.

Students have the ability to ‘chat’ with their friends through Teams however this is a platform for learning and teachers will be reminding students of their responsibilities when on-line and the importance of cyber safety. We have noticed some students taking advantage to this ability, communicating inappropriately with others in their class. If you are supporting your child at home accessing the Teams meeting please ensure they leave the meeting by selecting ‘leave’ at the termination of the check-in and live lesson.

It may also be a good time for you to look back on the previous blog and access some of the resources to ensure your child ‘Learning at Home’ in a safe and responsible way.
