On Wednesday the 18th of August, 4 teams from Brighton Primary competed in a SAPSASA Basketball Carnival at Wayville Sports Centre.
All teams put in a great effort and showed tremendous improvement in their skills and teamwork throughout the day. Every player had a positive attitude and were great representatives for our school.
Results were –
Year7 boys coached by Ben Pummeroy finished the day with 2 wins.
Year 7 girls coached by Scott Palmer also won 2 of their 4 games.
Year 6 boys also coached by Scott Palmer came away with 1 win.
Year 6 girls coached by Arthur Taylor competed in a finals play off, finishing 3rd.
A huge thank you to all 3 coaches who did an exceptional job of ensuring that all players had a great day and were able to develop their basketball game play. Especially Scott Palmer for taking on 2 teams!
