This week Brighton Primary hosted a number of animal species borrowed from the Nature Education Center as part of the Biological Sciences curriculum. Students from year 3 and a class from year 1 studied the animals and recorded their appearance and habitat to show their scientific observation skills. The students were extremely quiet in the room, so the animals felt comfortable to come out of their hiding places, and they were treated to; hopping mice making a nest, zebra finches laying an egg and the lizards soaking up the heat on their log.
