Hi BPS Community,
We have be given a great fundraising opportunity! The council is hosting a Brighton Oval Open Day to celebrate the new Brighton sports complex. They have been in contact with the school asking to use our car park. The school has advised them they could, but we would charge $5 per car as a fundraiser for our school.
We will use the staff car park as well as the courts. We are estimating it will fit around 150 cars. We need some volunteers to help on the day either taking payment at the gate or directing cars where to park. The details are below.
Sunday 11 April (the event runs from 10:00am-3:00pm) – we will need 3-4 volunteers for each shift
Shift 1 – 9:30-12:00
Shift 2 -12:00-2:30
This is a great opportunity to make some extra money for our school. Please email parentsandfriends@gmail.com if you are able to help and what shift you are available.
