On Monday, when the rain had subsided, 2.9 ventured back to Wittunga Botanic gardens for an excursion of a different kind. They married their artistic talents with science for a digital photography workshop. Photographing using different views and thinking about the rules of thirds students collected several photos and chose one to edit using the Snapseed app.
2.5, 2.7 and 2.8 visited the Adelaide Botanic Gardens to build on their Science work on plant adaptation. The students asked thoughtful and creative questions as they explored the rainforest and arid lands exhibits and thought about how plants live in their environments. They will use their knowledge not only in science but also to write informative texts. It is the start of some very exciting learning.
