Art Competition!
The 2020 Brighton Primary Art Show is going to be a big one. This year, our body of work as a school is going to be called “Earth & Us”. We’ve themed the show around nature and our environment because we want to encourage students and our community to think about our impact on earth, as well as the beauty surrounding us all the time. We encourage you to use holiday time to get out into the fresh air (cold but so worth it!) and take in all of the amazing things on our doorstep – from the tiny details on the leaves that have fallen, to the rolling hills that surround our city.
Over the holidays and the first part of term 3, we are holding an Art Competition for students – a chance to get inspired, be resourceful and use all of this indoor time to create! The overarching theme is “nature” – aligning with our art Show. A group of finalists with the most creative and skillful works will be shown as part of the art show, and winners chosen by a panel. There will be a winner and a runner up in each category.
