After School Sports – Winter Season.  Press Pause II

Thank you to all those who have registered for winter after school sport.

Today, I have spoken today with all 5 sports associations who work closely with our school in offering extra-curricular sport.

With start dates unknown and time-frames in constant review, we will pause all after school sports.

To give you an indication of current time-frames in discussion, most of our sports are suggesting a late May start.

If you have registered your child for a winter sport and are now reconsidering this, you can withdraw this registration.  Similarly, if your child is not yet registered for a sport, you have the option to sign them up next term.  There is no sense of urgency either way, we have time on our side.

In term 2, my fellow coordinators and myself, will do some initial planning and communications via email.  This will be to establish support crew of coaches and managers, that can be ready to roll when sports commence.

We recognise sport is an important part of many of our students, and their family’s, calendar.  We will keep our communications open and will let you know as soon as we receive any updates.
