Our Annual General Meeting for this year will be held on Monday the 17th of February, at 7pm in the STEM space. We will present the 2019 Annual Report and nominate and elect our new Governing Council for 2020. This is a great opportunity for new members of our school community to develop a better understanding of our school and perhaps contribute in a more formal way. All nominations for Governing Council are for 2 years so approximately half of all positions become available each year. All office bearer roles are fixed for one year.
A special presentation will follow where representatives from SENSUM, the company undertaking our new build, will share plans (both digitally and in hard copy), of the proposed construction. It is very important to note that staff, students and parents have been widely consulted regarding what is proposed and the presentation is not an opportunity to suggest alterations or changes. Members of our Governing Council Facilities Committee, particularly Simon Froude and Stewart Watson, have been well informed throughout this process and are very happy with what is proposed, as I am. The 3D view of the proposed build is very impressive.
