Special congratulations to Catharine Carlin, our CDE Leader and class teacher in 2.8, who has been nominated and now shortlisted as one of three finalists for the SA Credit Union Primary Teacher of the Year Awards. There are 10 separate categories across all schooling sectors. This year marks the 9th year of the Public Education Awards, which are designed to raise the profile of excellence in public education across the state through engaging the community in a public nomination process. All finalists are recognised as teachers who have demonstrated their commitment to excellence and creating world class outcomes for our students.
The Public Education Awards evening will be held on Friday the 11th of October at the Convention Centre, where each finalists’ achievements will be celebrated and award winners announced. All the very best to our very special teacher and educator, Catharine Carlin! I will update our community of the winners in term 4.
