The footpath adjacent to the new Woolworths building on the western side of Brighton road will be unavailable for pedestrians until Friday of this week. A new concrete driveway and footpath are being laid. Families/students coming from the north of the school on the western side of Brighton Road will not be able to access the crossing. An alternative would be to walk west down Preston Avenue to Torr Avenue, walk south and then turn left on Jetty Road and walk up to Brighton Road. Families can then cross at the lights.
We were not informed of the closure prior to this happening this morning.
