BPS Parents & Friends Committee- 2024; that’s a wrap!
Well, what a year 2024 has been, with many exciting events, lots of fundraising and many memories made. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as the P & F committee did.
A quick trip down memory lane to remind us:
- We reintroduced the Colour Fun Run! It was an incredible day filled with joy and colour, and the students outdid themselves, raising over $14, 000 that will go towards our school library renovations and enhancements.
- A raving good time was had at our School Disco, which has become a huge favourite for all our students.
- Our Xmas in July-themed Quiz Night raised over $1,500 through generous donations and games on the night.
- The Mother’s day and Father’s day stalls, Bake Sales, Muffins for Mum and Father’s Day Breakfast continue to be highlights for both students and their carers.
- Let’s not forget the Wine Fundraiser, Art Show Bake Sale and Easter Raffle as well.
- The first (hopefully annual) Spooktacular Halloween-themed ‘Family Fun Night’ was held in October- a fantastic night for parents and children alike.
- November Community Lawn Bowls- a chance to socialise and thank the community for the year that has been.
- P&F kindly donated money to purchase the outdoor furniture in LA4. I am sure the kids will enjoy this for many year to come!
- The annual Xmas Raffle was a great success again, with many families donating wonderful items. Thank you
- Lastly, we were very lucky to finish off our last meeting with a celebration at the Warradale. Thank you to the Warradale and Rebecca for sponsoring and providing us with delicious food and drinks!
A huge thank you to our incredible BPS community during 2024—your ongoing support has made all this possible. We couldn’t do it without you!
