Dear Families,
As we approach the end of another wonderful year at Brighton, we take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared. This year has been filled with learning, growth, and unforgettable memories. Our students have achieved remarkable milestones, and our vibrant community spirit has shone brightly in every aspect of school life. Our students have embraced challenges, displayed our school values, and celebrated many personal and collective achievements. From outstanding academic progress to creative endeavors and community contributions, every child has had an opportunity to thrive.
Our dedicated educators have continued to inspire and guide students to reach their fullest potential. The enthusiasm and teamwork demonstrated during many sporting events have been truly inspiring. From interschool competitions to school carnivals, students showcased their athletic skills, sportsmanship, and team spirit. Our Choir and Signing Choir have had a spectacular year, captivating audiences with their performances. Curiosity and thinking flourished in our STEM and Visual Arts programs. We expanded our use of digital technologies, embracing tools such as virtual reality to create immersive learning experiences. Our Pedal Prix team’s dedication and teamwork were on full display this year. Entrepreneurship came to life through our LA6 Enterprise Stalls. Our annual Writers’ Week was a celebration of imagination and the written word. This year, our students embarked on a variety of camps and excursions that extended learning beyond the classroom. We launched our Debating program. Students honed their public speaking, critical thinking, and persuasive communication skills while engaging in friendly yet thought-provoking debates.
What truly makes Brighton special is our strong sense of community. Parents, caregivers, staff, and students come together to support and uplift one another. This year, we have seen countless examples of collaboration, kindness, and collective effort, reinforcing that we are stronger together.
As we look forward to a well deserved break, we thank you for your ongoing support and involvement.
We wish you all a joyful and restful holiday season. We look forward to welcoming you and your children back to Brighton on Wednesday 29th January 2025.
Warm Regards, Rebecca
