Silent Auction Details:
In addition to the fun at our Quiz Night on Saturday, 27th July (full details below), we will be holding a silent auction. This year, we’re offering a unique opportunity for the school community to start bidding on some items early – a week before the event! And keep reading to find out the exciting new addition to the quiz night auction items!
How the Early Silent Auction Works:
- Online Bidding Form: From Monday 22nd July 9am to Friday 26th July 5pm, you can place your bids on our amazing auction items online (no money is exchanged). Visit https://forms.gle/wmLQ8ibqPGZYfz1A8 to see what’s available and start bidding!
- Final Bidding at Quiz Night: The highest online bids will become the starting bids at our silent auction during Quiz Night. To have the final say on your favorite items, make sure you attend the event!
- In-Person Bidding: Join us at St Jude’s Church, Grundy Hall on Saturday, 27th July. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the quiz starts at 7:00 PM. Be there to place your final bids and enjoy a fantastic evening with our community.
Auction Item Sneak Peak:
We have an exciting new addition to our silent auction – Principal for a Day! What an amazing experience for one of our kids. Here are the details:
Principal for a Day – Generously Donated by Rebecca Read
- Imagine your child taking the lead as Principal for a day! They can choose a Deputy and wear the Principal’s uniform.
- Start the morning by warmly greeting everyone and spreading positive energy.
- Enjoy a special morning tea with the Principal in the staff room, sharing stories and laughter.
- With clipboard in hand they will visit classrooms and talk to the children about their learning
- Lead a student forum in the Principal’s office
- Plan and lead a lunchtime club
- Make a special announcement over the school PA system.
- Write about their day for the Principals weekly wrap up for the school blog, sharing their fun experience with everyone!

Don’t forget your tickets for our annual Brighton Primary School Quiz Night on Saturday, 27th July, hosted by the Parents & Friends Committee, this Saturday! This year, we’re adding a festive twist with a Christmas in July theme. Dig out your ugliest Christmas sweater and join us for a fun night out to socialize with friends and meet other families from our wonderful school community.
Event Details:
- Date: Saturday, 27th July
- Theme: Christmas in July – Ugly Sweaters (not mandatory)
- Location: St Jude’s Church, Grundy Hall
- Doors Open: 6:30 PM
- Quiz Starts: 7:00 PM
- BYO: Food and Drink (liquor licensed)
- Note: Adults only, sorry kids!
Tickets:
- $10 per person or $100 for a table of 10

The Quiz Master will run games throughout the evening, so be sure to bring cash/coins (including the famous coin slide), or use the EFTPOS available on the night.
