Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2023

Parents/Guardians are warmly invited to Brighton Primary School for our Annual General Meeting

7:00 pm on Monday 20th February, 2023 in the STEM Room

Including a presentation of the 2022 Annual Report and the 2023 Site Improvement Plan.

The Governing Council is an important part of our school. Meetings are held twice a term (week 4 and week 8) on Monday evenings at 7:00pm. The Governing Council works with the Principal to oversee the school budget, monitor the school’s improvement journey, set new directions/priorities, approve student free days/school closures, plan facilities/grounds improvements and oversee the Canteen and OSHC.

 We are looking for 7 new Governing Council Committee representatives.

Our school has seven sub-committees which also require members.  Sub-committes are; Finance, OSHC, Canteen, Sport, Grounds and Facilities, Parents and Friends, and Innovation and Technology.  You can be part of our sub-committees without being a member of Governing Council.

The first Governing Council Meeting with be held directly after the AGM from 7:30-8:15pm.
