On Saturday 25 June (Term 2) the school hall was transformed for the first Brighton Primary School Quiz Night since 2016.
A big thank you to the 100+ people who joined in the fun of the quiz, the true or false games, the coin slide, and bid in the silent auction.
Our ‘QuizMaster’ Tom Trifonoff led 7 fast paced question rounds, as well as name that logo and other brain teasers.
A highlight of the night was having a CDE staff and friends table join in the fun, with support from their Auslan interpreters.
A huge thank you to staff Rebecca Read and Michelle Smith who attended to help with organisation on the night, P&F members for pulling the event together, and setting up the hall on Saturday afternoon in the small window available, the St Jude’s Breakfast Club for the loan of their tables, and to Jan Taylor for being the P&F go to person for last-minute items.
The final result was very close with the Incredibles team winning by a 3-point margin over team GOAT.
The silent auction couldn’t have gone ahead without the amazing P&F team who chased down donations, and of course the following generous local businesses.
