The main focus during Arts with Year 3 and 4 children the second half of the term has been on lines.
Lines are everywhere in art. They can be described many ways such as as fluent, curved ,long, directional, wide, curly ,thick ,thin ,controlled, broken, overlapping and delicate and as we discovered many more.
In class we have been exploring with filling objects with varied lines, creating printed cards and pictures with lines on foam and then covered with paint and lastly having a try at our own optical illusions.
