Online Learning preparation for term 3, should we go into lockdown.

Whilst we currently do not have COVID-19 cases in the community, should this change we are ready to move to online learning at Brighton Primary.

If a lockdown is announced in term 3;

  • Parents will receive their online learning code for SeeSaw via a direct email from the school.
  • Students will be provided with learning from their teacher to do at home.
  • There is a page on the blog for online learning which will support parents during the lockdown period.
  • The school will remain open for children of essential workers.

We recognise that learning from home can be challenging, particularly with younger students,  and our expectations are realistic. This is learning at home not home-schooling and is a short term measure to see us through a lockdown period.
