Students educate the local community on the plight of the Plover.

A brave group of students went to the Brighton Civic Centre today, to share their learning from last year about the Hooded Plover with members of the local community. They stood in front of adults in the meeting room and explained their methods of getting the message out about how to protect this tiny coastal bird. The audience was left spell bound by these year 1 students as they showed and explained their work. A retired year 7 teacher commented on their depth of knowledge, creativity of solutions and how proud she was of their work.

Congratulations Sally, Bec and their 2020 foundation class.

  1. Very proud of them all! It was amazing as a parent to see the process of this STEM project and the outcomes.
