12 and under boys cricket team selection
information
Students must be 12 years and under in the year of competition with a minimum age of 10 years of age in
the year of competition and enrolled at an affiliated school.

Trial information
Trial 1 Saturday 20 March 12.00pm to 4.30pm
Trial 2 Sunday 21 March 12.00pm to 4.30pm
Trial 3 Saturday 27 March 12.00pm to 4.30pm
Trial 4 Sunday 28 March 9.30am to 12.30pm
Each player will be allocated time slots to attend. There will be 2 times slots of 1 hour. All trials will be held at
Gillespie Sports 375 Cross Road Edwardstown. Allocated session times will be emailed students shortly after
nominations close. Far country players will have both trials on the one day to avoid having to return to
Adelaide.
Trial/selection conditions
An online nomination form must be completed prior to the student trialling
A trial cost of $10 per student is to be paid at the first trial to the manager upon registration. Country
students do not pay.
At registration a parent/caregiver must sign to allow the student to participate in the trial.
Students are to wear their school sport shirt.
Selection process
Selection will be made on the basis of form at the trials with regard to:
 Ability to play within a team structure
 Must demonstrate a
o willingness to listen and learn
o strong work ethic
o high level of basic skill and sport knowledge
