Annual General Meeting Monday the 15th of February 7pm

Our Annual General Meeting for this year will be held on Monday the 15th of February, at 7pm  in the staffroom. I will present the 2020 Annual Report and we will nominate and elect our new Governing Council for 2021. This is a great opportunity for new members of our school community to develop a better understanding of our school and perhaps contribute in a more formal way. All nominations for Governing Council are for 2 years so approximately half of all positions become available each year. All office bearer roles are fixed for one year. Presentations will be given by Jan (Curriculum initiatives and planning at BPS), Vanessa (Writing), Renee (Reading) and Christie ( Numeracy and STEM). Each will give a brief summary of achievements in 2020 and an overview of 2021 actions as part of our Site Improvement Plan. I will also speak regarding our 2020 year and update parents regarding plans for 2021- particularly our new building progress.

Next week I will update our community via this Blog with further details regarding the evening. I will include the nomination form for any member of our community who would like to be part of our Governing Council or for any member who has concluded their second year and would like to re-nominate.

The meeting will conclude at 8pm, ending with a supper.
