Absolutely loved seeing all these creative species ‘designs’ by the Year 7 students. How lucky are we to share our country with some of the weirdest and wackiest of species every to have evolved?… the kangaroo with it’s super strong tail and uber bouncy legs, the echidna with its spiky quills and ability to roll into a ball, the shy platypus with its duck-like bill and leathery eggs and… our beloved koalas that can eat the marginally digestible eucalyptus leaves and carry their young in their pouches! Great project 🙂

The year 7 students are a creative lot and they are given lots of opportunities to express this by their teachers. Australia certainly has some weird and wonderful creatures and you never know what will evolve in the future.
