One of our focuses this year on our Site Improvement Plan, has been to increase student achievement in writing (Challenges of Practice). Last year, as a whole-school, we implemented 7 Steps to Writing Success as a tool to support us towards this challenge. I am attaching a “Parent Tips” information booklet which will assist you when discussing your child’s writing in the home environment, particularly around the language we are using. Your child’s Teacher/s will further discuss this with you at Acquaintance Night next Tuesday.
