Footy Colours Day – Last Day of Term (27th September)

We are holding a ‘Footy Colours’ Day in support of the Fight Cancer Foundation and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month on Friday 27 September, the last day of Term 3.

Wear your favourite team colours instead of school uniform.

Choose a team from any sport including: AFL, AFLW, Netball (Suncorp Super Netball), Soccer (A-League, W-League, English Football League), Cricket (International, Big Bash League), SANFL, NRL, Dance or Gymnastics outfits, the list goes on…

This will be a fantastic way to finish off the term!

It is a school expectation that all team colours clothing is appropriate. Those students that aren’t dressed appropriate will have parents contacted to bring in suitable clothing. We also require all students to be in normal school footwear for safety issues.

As we are raising money for the foundation a gold coin donation is expected if you are wearing your team colours instead of school uniform.

All the money raised through Footy Colours Day funds Fight Cancer Foundation’s education support programs which keeps kids learning while they undergo cancer treatment.  The program operates in major paediatric hospitals in South Australia, Victoria, and New South Wales.

Making sure kids stay engaged with their education while they receive treatment for cancer is one of the fundamental ways Fight Cancer Foundation helps reduce the long-term impact of cancer..
