Community Sports Clubs and Sports Voucher Program – $100

What is the Sports Vouchers program?

The Sports Vouchers program is a Government of South Australia initiative administered by the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing. The program provides an opportunity for primary school aged children from Reception to Year 7 to receive up to a $100 discount on sports or dance membership/registration fees.  The purpose is to increase the number of children playing organised sport or participating in dance activities by reducing cost as a barrier.

From 1 January 2019 several changes have been made to the program, including the vouchers being increased from $50 to $100 and all forms of dance are now eligible.

Please be aware, school sports do not meet the eligibility criteria.

If you have not claimed your sports voucher yet, there’s still plenty of time. There is one voucher for every primary school aged child per calendar year. To find your nearest provider please use the ‘Find a Provider’ tool.

Many clubs are creating their summer season teams now, and not all clubs have their details linked to the Find a Provider tool.  If you know a local club that your child may be interested in, please contact them to enquire about availability and voucher eligibility.  Please feel welcome to leave a comment on this post should your child’s club or team need players.  Someone reading this post may be looking for exactly what you have available.
