    1. Sorry Liz – we sent the flyer and info out before we had it loaded on Qkr! Our mistake, and apology to you.
You may have found where to pay on Qkr! already as it has since been added.
If not, please select “Parents and Friends” from the Parents and Friends section of the menu page, then select your/one of your children who is attending, select Disco ticket, then choose either a single ticket for $5 for the child selected, or choose a family ticket for 2 or more children for $10. When selecting a family ticket, please add your other children’s name/s and class number/s – so we can get the tickets to them. Please also remember to send in the completed disco form, so we can have a record of your details on hand should we need to contact you on the night. Thanks and regards, Jan-Marie

  1. As a parent of a reception student, just wondering how these events work – do we drop them at 6pm and pick up at 7pm or stay for the duration?

    1. Hi Carly
      Great question.
Yes, you do drop off your child at the hall entrance which will be sign posted and managed by members of the P&F committee.
Upon entering, they are given a glow stick bracelet.
The disco is hosted by “Bop to you Drop!”.
We have P&F volunteers and BPS staff caring for your children while they are at the disco.
Water is available inside so they don’t need to bring a thing.
It is a lock in – so no children are permitted to leave the hall, unless it is to go to the hall toilets, which again is managed by our volunteers.
At the conclusion of the disco (7pm for reception – year 2 students), parents enter the hall from one end, meet up with their children inside, and exit the hall with their child (and grab their drink and chips as they leave as a take home snack).
P&F will take photos, to post on the blog.
I hope that paints a picture of the evening for you.
Please let us know if you have any other questions
      Jan-Marie
