This term is a busy one for our library and students. Book Week is during Week 5 and this year’s theme is “Reading is my Secret Power”. Week 5 will also see the final judging for our Writer’s Week Awards. Students are currently busy working on their entries before submitting them by the end of Week 3. The overall winners will be announced at a special assembly on Friday of Week 5, when we will have our Book Week dress up parade.
The Premier’s Reading Challenge also finishes during Term 3. Six weeks to go…. Friday of Week 7 will be the last day for students to submit their Student Record Sheets. Please encourage your child to keep reading to complete their challenge.
Chess Club is in the library during lunchtime on Wednesdays. If your child would like to join up they can come into the library and place their name on the waiting list.
