Volunteers – Induction Session Monday 6th May 5.30pm

Thanks to all our wonderful volunteers.

There are  4 steps that need to be fulfilled by our volunteers.

For those needing to be inducted, Jan is holding a session next Monday, 6 May from 5.30-6.00pm. Please make a booking through Sarah or Shenae in the front office (8296 3614).  If you cannot attend this session, please call the school to book a one-to-one session.

1. Volunteer Application Form completed and returned
2. DCSI Child related clearance, now known as DHS.  Organised through the school at no charge.  If you have one through your own means, please hand a copy to the school.
3. Responding to Abuse and Neglect (RAN) Online training certificate.  No charge, takes approximately 40 minutes; hand a copy of the printed certificate to the school.
4. Induction to our school – hosted by Jan, our Deputy Principal.

Steps 1, 3 and 4 need only be completed once. (If, for some reason, they ever need redoing, we will let you know.)

Step 2 – your Child related clearance is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.  This online form takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.  Once requested via the school,  we will email you a link. You will then need to complete and submit the form from DHS.  The clearance can take between 2- 6 weeks to be granted.
