This Saturday 1st of December will mark the turning on of Andrew and Kylie Walters (long term parents of the school) Christmas Lights. It is always an amazing show of lights and this year Andrew is partnering with our school to raise money for a powerful telescope, so we can start some star gazing nights with various year levels and ignite some passion for astronomy in our students. Parents and Friends are also supporting this program for which we are very grateful.
We would love as many school families to come along as possible. We will be running a BBQ from 6:30-7:30. All proceeds will go towards the Brighton Primary School Telescope fund. At 8:45pm the lights will go on with a big ceremony and countdown. It is always a fun evening. Kids and families are welcome to dress up in Star Wars, Super Hero or Christmas dress.
Gardiner Avenue, Warradale Park (opposite Warradale Tennis Club and Park)
6:30 BBQ and 8:45 Countdown and switch on. Gold coin donation would be great.
