On Friday November 2nd all staff were involved in starting the process to determine the directions for our next Site Improvement Plan (SIP). We were led through a series of group tasks to analyse the data from NAPLAN, Running Records and The Australian Curriculum Standards. All observations were documented and collated to see if there were any emerging connections in the data. As a result the 3 priority areas were determined and they will focus on improving writing, reading and numeracy. The second step in the process was to determine a challenge of practice for each of these priorities which will guide future Professional Development opportunities for our staff. More information will be shared with our school community as the SIP develops further.
